Since 1989 I have worked with individuals and families in their efforts to break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. I co-founded a private, non-profit substance abuse treatment program in 1994 to provide detox, residential and outpatient treatment services for youth and adults. I served as the clinical director for that organization from 1994 to 2006 and as the executive director from 2006 until 2016. I embrace the belief that life is too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled.
